A little bit more about Silent Hill V

 

Remember about Alex Shepherd, a veteran of war that tries to find his father and brother and ends up on Silent Hill right? –classic–

Well there’s been new informations that Alex will have to explore the famous places of Silent Hill –hospital etc– and the darker versions of them. A nice add will be some new  fighting techniques to bring the monster bitches down and the multiple endings will be more than 3, as it is the usual number of alternative Silent Hill endings.

There’s also going to be a female character named Ellie but it’s unknown at the point what will her role be.

 p.s I just realized that i haven’t posted in a long time “thanks” to uni and my new first entry is about Silent Hill. Creepy huh? ^_^

Yay! Tsubasa vol.21, 22, 23 come along with dvds!

Yes, it is official! There may not be a third season for the anime, but the upcoming mangas are gonna be released in Japan with OVAS. Tokyo Revelations –that is the title of the 3 OVAS– will cover the events from the Tokyo Arc. These are gonna be limited editions, so you should pre-order your own copy now. There are several online shopping sites where you can find them.

First day on uni! –aka someone save me!–

 

So yeah, the title speaks for me. First day on uni tomorrow and i am –a little– nervous! I’m studying Philosophy and Ancient History and i must say that i’m curious for those subjects.

Square Enix launches online merchandise store

That’s right! Square Enix launched its online merchandise store. Right now, it’s pretty much under construction but there are a few decent items for the hardcore fans. Personally i like the pendants, but the particular items are a little over-priced. Part of it because it’s real silver. Meh, it doesn’t matter because i cannot buy them. Yes, an annoying note: It doesn’t ship internationally yet.

I think it’s known all around the world the tragedy my country lived a few days ago. I’m not gonna go further on that because it only makes me feel bad inside and really sad.

I just wanted to say a big congratulations to the greek channels that hosted a show last night, where the main goal was to collect money to give hope to those poor people that lost their houses, their families, their properties. People all over the country and not only, gave calls, text messages, and gave whatever they could.

Big congratulations to everyone. The money that were given from all of us: 11.727.296 euros.

Our brothers that lost their lives, others trying to escape and others trying to do their job: May rest in peace. We won’t forget you.

Craziness in Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle!

Have i mentioned that things in Tsubasa Chronicle have gone really crazy lately? Fay’s –yes i’ll stick with that name, thanks– arc is full of drama, surprises and action! Volume 21 surely did it for me!
CLAMP really messed with our minds this time! But the first big mess was on Volume 16, who can forget that huh? Anyway, i’m looking forward for the new stages, i hope it won’t lose the magic it has now.

Tsubasa Volume 15 will be released on October 30 in english and Tsubasa Vol. 16 on January 29, 2008.<—-Don’t miss that one! Especially the deluxe version that is available on japanese and Korean is just awesome. May online shopping lives! In Europe,–specially in Greece– we get nothing! And i mean that.

Btw as for the anime, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, Vol. 4 – Between Death and Danger dvd is set to be out in October 4th. There haven’t been any announcements about a third season, though it have been announced that a series of OVAs are scheduled to be released in late 2007 and early 2008.

Why are you doing this Sadamoto-kun? –aka Neon Genesis Evangelion Manga–

 

 

 

Since this is my first entry about mangas, i have to say that the first manga i’ve ever received was Neon Genesis Evangelion. A few years have passed and now my manga collection has grown a lot. But still it holds a special place in my heart. Though it’s been a long time since the last Eva book/stage (the “official” one if i can call it that) and this is not something new. It’s been almost 12 years since the first volume came out.

So one can say that Sadamoto is taking his sweet time and he may have a point. I mean the artwork is great, the story is great –well not that much different from the anime except the lack of Asuka’s scenes that is a pain in the ass!!– but what’s taking so long?

Anyway, right now, Sadamoto is gonna be busy with his designs for Eva Rebuild, so yeah, that means another awful wait!

I recently got my Volume 10 copy –and yes, no Asuka at all! @$%#– and things seem to be near the end.

I believe in Japan volume 11 just came out, soon(?) will be available in US. Sadamoto himself has stated that there are gonna be 12 or 13 volumes and the ending is gonna be based on End of Evangelion [yes, another mindfuc* is heading our way], so i hope in the next three years it will be completed!

I feel really good right now, it’s just like a burden got out of my back! Truth is  we didn’t play good, but we got what we wanted! What can i say, i guess we like danger!

Silent Hill V

It’s finally confirmed. The main protagonist of Silent Hill V, will be Alex Shepherd, a war veteran. He’s returning to his home and finds out that his father and brother are missing. Oh, and his mother is in catatonia state. So yeah, prepare for fear overdose, as the events lead him to the familiar and happy place, called Silent Hill.

I love Japan! –aka Rebuild of Eva is out!–

Yeah, great time to be in Japan! Rebuild of Eva is out on theaters and the reviews so far have been pretty good. Not superb, but it’s still the beginning. The next movie is scheduled somewhere in 2008. And i really can’t wait as my favorite character is gonna strike again! That’s right, Asuka, the glorious second pilot!

Unfortunately stuck here in Greece, preparing to go in uni for the first time, i can’t enjoy this happy event. Dvds are gonna be released awfully late here in Europe, so i hope to watch it online before the end of my first semester!
